"Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, for the countless ways that you have blessed our parish community of St. Dorothy’s. We thank you for those who have come before us, those who have taught the faith to us, and for those who have brought us nearer to You through their word and example. We ask your guidance and blessing as we begin our Capital Campaign to help spread the faith to future generations. 

Lord Jesus Christ, You who are truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, assist us in making your home at St. Dorothy’s a haven of peace, prayer, and communion with You. Please bless and bring to successful completion all our Capital Campaign events, visits, and gatherings. Be the inspiration and goal of all our efforts and labors. 

Holy Spirit, come and enkindle the hearts of our community with the fire of your love. Fill us with generosity and zeal for your kingdom and for the salvation of souls. Fill us with wisdom to make prudent decisions, and unite us as one community of faith given to the common purpose of praising and living for You.  

Grant us the devotion and tenderness of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the strength and foresight of St. Joseph. Finally, give us the fortitude and sacrificial love of our patroness St. Dorothy. May all of our efforts both large and small bring about the salvation of souls and the spreading of the Gospel. We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen."
